First Aid

Minor injuries can be treated quickly and effectively using your first aid kit. Be sure to include all of the over-the-counter medications that household members use on a regular basis, as well as prescription medications.

Other tips for creating your first aid kit:
  • Include a first aid manual, and consider taking a first aid class.
  • Routinely check expiration dates and rotate medications.
  • If household members have conditions that require monitoring, such as high blood pressure and diabetes, include these medical supplies.
